The new drop spots at Zone can help you do just that, simply, bring your un-opened non perishables to church on Sunday and it'll be taken to our food bank where it is boxed and then distributed to hungry homes in our community! JR.Varsity, Varsity & College MinistriesStudentsJoin Us Sunday Nights 5-7 Students is a movement birthed out of the idea of engaging young people from all walks of life, from all different backgrounds, to God, the church, and to others. Our mission/goal/vision/etc. is best summarized in what we like to call The Trifecta (our three core values):1. Family (Romans 12:5, Galatians 3:28)Students first and foremost is a family. The bible states that we are brothers and sisters in Christ, and at Engage we truly live that out.Our motto is simply "come as you are." As we continuously seek to reach more people and grow "the family," we put no stipulation on who we try to reach or who we invite to come be a part. We encourage all young people to come join the family just as they are. It is not our job to judge or try to change people. It is our job to love people and point them to Jesus. It is our passion and desire to create an atmosphere where you can come and let down your guards and find people who truly care about you and want to live life alongside you. There are no strangers at Students.2. Discipleship (Matthew 28:19)We firmly believe that the key growing and expanding the family is discipleship. It's great to get people to church and get them accept Jesus into their hearts, but what then? Jesus didn't just tell the disciples to follow him and that's it... No, Jesus raised them up and taught them how to live! And his last commandment was for them to go out and make more disciples! We firmly believe in doing just that--raising up young people to go out and make more disciples. Our primary source for discipleship is through our small groups.Our goal is to not only be a student ministry with small groups, but a student ministry OF small groups.3. Fun (Psalm 118:24, Nehemiah 8:10, Isaiah 35:10)Finally, here at Students, we believe in having fun in anything and everything we do. Heaven is going to be a place of happiness and joy and singing and praising and there will be no sorrow! We believe in getting ourselves ready for that by having a party down here! Life GroupsWHAT IS A LIFE GROUP?A Life group is a gathering of people who meet on a regular basis to encourage and support one another in their spiritual journey. Life groups are a place to do life together: living, learning, eating, playing, and resting together. As a growing church family, our desire is to have as many people as possible participating in our Life Groups. Life Groups meet in private homes throughout the community. The Life Group format may differ somewhat from group to group but all groups include lively conversation and food, Bible study (usually a DVD-driven lesson followed by discussion) and a time of prayer. In a life group you can take a break from the busy demands of everyday life and invest in what is really important: your relationship with God and your relationship with the people around you. WHY SHOULD I ATTEND LIFE GROUPS?The Bible gives us examples of how peoples’ lives were changed when they met in homes with small groups of people. ZONE KIDS & Babies, too!"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)Zone Kids is for children (and infants) through 12 years old. Through dynamic worship, teaching, and a variety of fun activities, children are exposed to God's Word and are challenged to grow in faith and grace, and to deepen their love and relationship with Christ and others. We think Kids Church should be the highlight of your child's week, and so we plan every minute to be action packed and full of fun!! Safety is of great importance as you entrust your children to us each week.Each staff member is screened through an interview and background check and has been CPR and First Aid Certified as well as trained through a wonderful ministry tool called Reducing the Risk.
We are an Interdenominational church that shares ministry with numerous area churches. In non-essentials, we strive for cooperation and acceptance wherever we can. In foundational biblical truths we stand firm on the inspired word of God. Who We Are1. We Stand on the RockWe belive the Bible is inspired by God, and is the ultimate authority in all areas of life. We are people of prayer and we stand in faith on God's promises for our lives and for our church. The Word is living and active in our lives, and as a church and as individuals we do our best to live out its principles daily. ( 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12 )2. We are a Place of GraceWe are a come as you are church. We believe that you don't need to be fixed to come to church. We are a bunch of rag-tag, messed up people, only made righteous by the grace of Jesus Christ. Because we have received grace upon grace (John 1:16), we freely give it to other people. We don't judge and condemn people; we love and embrace people for who they are and create an environment where Jesus' grace can transform their lives. (Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 John 4:19-21)3. We are CommittedWe, individually and as a church, are committed to our Pastor, to each other, to our mission field, and most of all to the kingdom of God. We believe in giving our time, talents, treasures, and our prayer to something much bigger than ourselves- and advancing the Kingdom of God through the vision God has given our Pastor. (Matthew 28:19-20, Ephesians 6:5-8)4. We InvestSomething we whole-heartedly believe in and practice as a church and as indiviuals is generosity. We believe in bringing God's tithe (10%) and going above and beyond in our offerings to support the vision of our church and the work of the Kingdom. As well as our finances, we invest our time, our services, and our prayer to our church. (Malachi 3:10,2 Corinthians 9:6-8, Acts 20:35)5. We are UnitedAs a church, we are united under one vision- the vision God has given our Pastor specifically for our church and we will defend our unity and that vision. Outside of our church, we are a place of cooperation and respect towards other churches, ministries and fellowships that are preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation.
